Marco was born in Florence, Italy, and he trained and worked in Italy and the UK as an Architect on projects ranging from the careful design of a door handle to large scale mixeduse masterplanning.

In Italy he was part of the delivery team for the Antinori Winery now completed. While in London he worked on the design of several high end residential projects in the Notting Hill area and while at Rafael Vinoly Architects he lead the team for the design development of the Battersea Power Station masterplan.

Since his arrival in Nairobi in 2008, he worked on several large size projects ranging from residential, commercial, retail and hospitality before moving to Mombasa as the Architect supervising the construction of English Point Marina.

Marco holds a master degree in Urban Design from Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK and is a registered Architect in Kenya with the Board of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS), the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK) and is a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

Marco cofounded Avanti Architecture Ltd where he is the Managing Director bringing over 15 years of international and local experience of the building industry.

Born in Kenya, Samuel established his career as an architect, specializing in mid-size to large-scale projects ranging from golf courses to mixed-use commercial and hospitality developments.

Samuel’s design philosophy is a blend of astute analysis, creative experimentation, and a sense of social and environmental responsibility, resulting in innovative and bold ideas with a strong sense of contextualization.

Samuel earned a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Nairobi and is a registered architect in Kenya with the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (BORAQS) and the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK).

He co-founded Avanti Architecture Ltd, where he currently serves as a Design Director, bringing his vast experience of over 20 years in the building industry in Kenya and the wider East Africa region.

Kennedy was born in Kenya where he trained and worked as an assistant Architect becoming a technical reference specialist with 27 years in the construction industry in Kenya and East Africa.

Kennedy experience crosses several typologies of buildings from commercial to residential and high rises office blocks such as the twenty five floors KCB Tower in Upperhill where he was the Project Leader.

Kennedy joined AVANTI ARCHITECTURE LTD taking the role of Technical Director interpreting and implementing the practice designs efficiently and practically within the constraints of the project.
