Project Description
Following the success of Kingfisher Nest, a serviced apartment development, the same developer envisioned Kasuku Tower as a complementary project in the heart of Westlands. This mixed-use tower would offer studios and 1-bedroom apartments alongside office and commercial space, all within walking distance of the Electric Avenue entertainment hub.
Meeting the needs of residents and businesses was paramount. The design incorporates not only studios and 1-bedroom apartments but also office and commercial space, creating a vibrant hub within Westlands. Adequate parking was another key consideration. Local regulations were not just met but exceeded through a clever solution: a semi-automated multi-story parking system, designed to incentivize investors with its convenience.
Drawing inspiration from the success of Kingfisher Nest’s rooftop pool, Kasuku Tower’s crown jewel would be a heated rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant accessing the breathtaking views of the surrounding neighborhood and beyond.
Achieving a balance between value proposition, natural lighting, and ventilation was a priority. The design team departed from the traditional podium-tower model. Instead, Kasuku Tower emerges as a unique “stepping tower,” its 24 floors rising towards the sky. A full-height atrium with a glass roof sits at the heart of the tower, bathing the interior in natural light.
The contemporary aesthetic of the development thrives on a playful façade. A series of cubes creates a rhythmic pattern, offering both open and closed balconies for the various apartments.
