HABITAT HOTEL, KILIMANI, KENYA

Project Description

This Hotel proposal is an innovative hospitality project prioritizing guest comfort and environmental responsibility.

The design strategically positions the building to minimize harsh sun exposure and maximize natural light, reducing reliance on artificial lighting. Sustainability is paramount. A prefabricated facade system with integrated photovoltaic louvers generates electricity for the hotel. A central glass atrium separates guest rooms, offering a light-filled and naturally ventilated circulation path. The program integrates seamlessly.

The ground floor features easily accessible amenities like restaurants and meeting rooms, while the rooftop boasts a stunning pool, bar, and gym with panoramic city views. The hotel fosters community connection through a unique open-air amphitheater created by cascading steps on the podium. This space offers a platform for events and entertainment, while strengthening ties with the surrounding neighborhood. The Nairobi Oasis Hotel exemplifies a holistic design approach, creating a luxurious urban sanctuary that prioritizes guest experience, environmental responsibility, and community engagement.
