The Masterplan Design for Phase 2 of this major satellite city comprised a variety of building typologies from residential, hospitality, office, lowcost housing, industrial and retail with innovative sustainable urban and landscape principles. The design aims to create a contemporary community nestled amidst the picturesque countryside of Arusha. Merging careful planning with adaptive phasing strategies, Gomba City offers a dynamic response to market needs while maintaining a stunning backdrop for its residents. The design envisioned a community that seamlessly integrates Environmental, Economic, and Social Sustainability into its fabric, redefining modern living within the embrace of Arusha’s stunning countryside.

At its core, Gomba City embodies Environmental Sustainability by honoring nearly 20% of its expanse as green space, cherishing river reserves, and adorning the landscape with verdant parks and meticulously landscaped roads. The commitment to sustainability extends further through high-quality wastewater treatment and the implementation of energy-efficient lighting, establishing a harmonious balance between modernity and ecological preservation. Social Sustainability forms the beating heart of Gomba City, fostering a vibrant ecosystem that thrives on job creation across construction, maintenance, and management sectors while prioritizing employee health and safety.
